Space Systems Engineer
NORZVA is looking for Space Systems Engineers to lead end-to-end spacecraft system design and integration — bridging all engineering disciplines from concept to launch readiness.
OPEN LEVELS
Intern — Support system-level documentation, trade studies and interface control document preparation under senior guidance.
Junior (0–2 Years) — Contribute to system requirements development, interface definition and system verification activities on live programmes.
Mid Level (2–5 Years) — Lead system architecture tasks, manage technical interfaces between subsystems and own verification and validation planning.
Senior (5+ Years) — Lead full mission systems engineering lifecycle, manage cross-disciplinary teams and represent NORZVA as technical authority with clients.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
– Define and manage system-level requirements across all spacecraft subsystems
– Develop system architecture, CONOPS and interface control documents
– Lead technical reviews including SRR, PDR and CDR
– Manage verification and validation planning and execution to ECSS standards
– Coordinate technical interfaces between subsystems and engineering teams
– Support mission trade studies and feasibility analyses
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Degree in Aerospace, Systems or related engineering
– Experience in spacecraft or complex systems engineering
– Knowledge of ECSS standards and space mission lifecycle
– Strong systems thinking and requirements management skills
– Experience with SysML, UML or MBSE tools preferred
NICE TO HAVE
– Experience with DOORS, Jama or similar requirements tools
– Knowledge of model-based systems engineering practices
– Familiarity with ESA mission phases and review processes
