NORZVA is looking for Assembly, Integration and Test Engineers to support spacecraft AIT activities — managing the physical assembly, integration and testing of spacecraft systems and subsystems delivered to ESA-standard quality.
OPEN LEVELS
Intern
Support AIT documentation, test procedure preparation and data recording activities under senior engineer guidance. Ideal for final year students in aerospace, mechanical or electronics engineering.
Junior (0–2 Years)
Support spacecraft assembly and integration activities, execute test procedures and record test results on live client programmes.
Mid Level (2–5 Years)
Lead AIT activities independently, develop test procedures, manage test campaigns and own AIT deliverables on client projects.
Senior (5+ Years)
Lead full spacecraft AIT campaign, manage AIT teams and represent NORZVA as AIT technical authority with clients.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
– Support spacecraft assembly and integration activities in cleanroom environments
– Develop and execute AIT test procedures and acceptance test plans
– Perform functional, electrical and environmental testing of spacecraft systems
– Record and analyse test data and produce AIT test reports to ECSS standards
– Support SCOE development and checkout equipment operation
– Interface with systems, AOCS and software engineering teams during integration
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics or related engineering field
– Experience in spacecraft or complex system AIT activities
– Knowledge of cleanroom procedures and ESD handling requirements
– Understanding of ECSS AIT standards and spacecraft testing methodologies
– Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
NICE TO HAVE
– Experience with SCOE or spacecraft checkout equipment operation
– Knowledge of environmental testing including vibration and thermal vacuum
– Familiarity with spacecraft electrical ground support equipment
