NORZVA is looking for Maritime Communication Engineers at all levels — from fresh interns to experienced senior engineers — to join our growing maritime technology team. You will work on real maritime communication projects including VSAT, Iridium and VHF/UHF integration for vessels operating in open ocean environments delivered to GMDSS and IMO standards.

OPEN LEVELS

Intern
Support communication system documentation, link budget calculations and interface preparation under senior engineer guidance. Ideal for final year students in electronics, telecommunications or maritime engineering.

Junior (0–2 Years)
Develop communication software modules, contribute to VSAT and satellite system integration and support client deliverables on live maritime programmes.

Mid Level (2–5 Years)
Lead maritime communication system development independently, manage RF subsystem interfaces and own technical deliverables on client projects.

Senior (5+ Years)
Lead full maritime communication architecture and delivery, manage engineering teams and represent NORZVA as technical authority with maritime clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

– Design and develop maritime communication systems including VSAT and satellite links
– Integrate VHF/UHF radio systems with vessel bridge and navigation equipment
– Develop communication software for data transfer and vessel tracking
– Ensure GMDSS and IMO communication compliance in all system designs
– Perform RF link budget analysis and communication system validation
– Produce technical documentation aligned to maritime communication standards

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

– Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Maritime or related engineering field
– Knowledge of maritime communication systems including VSAT and GMDSS
– Experience with RF link budget analysis and satellite communication systems
– Understanding of IMO communication equipment performance standards
– Strong analytical and problem solving skills

NICE TO HAVE

– Experience with Iridium or Inmarsat satellite communication systems
– Knowledge of AIS and vessel tracking systems
– Familiarity with maritime cybersecurity standards
