NORZVA is looking for Maritime Compliance Engineers at all levels — from fresh interns to experienced senior engineers — to join our growing maritime technology team. You will work on real compliance projects including IMO, SOLAS and flag state compliance management tools, regulatory reporting software and vessel audit management platforms delivered to international maritime standards.

OPEN LEVELS

Intern
Support compliance documentation, regulatory research and system testing under senior engineer guidance. Ideal for final year students in maritime, software or legal engineering.

Junior (0–2 Years)
Develop compliance software modules, contribute to regulatory reporting system integration and support client deliverables on live maritime
compliance programmes.

Mid Level (2–5 Years)
Lead compliance system development independently, manage regulatory interfaces and own technical deliverables on client projects.

Senior (5+ Years)
Lead full compliance platform architecture and delivery, manage engineering teams and represent NORZVA as technical authority with maritime regulatory clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

– Design and develop IMO and SOLAS compliance management software systems
– Integrate compliance tools with vessel management and reporting systems
– Develop flag state regulatory reporting and audit management platforms
– Ensure MARPOL and environmental compliance in all system designs and deliverables
– Perform compliance system testing and validation against regulatory requirements
– Produce technical documentation aligned to international maritime standards

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

– Degree in Maritime, Software, Legal or related engineering field
– Knowledge of IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL and flag state regulatory requirements 

– Experience in maritime compliance or regulatory software development 

– Understanding of vessel audit and inspection management processes – Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

NICE TO HAVE

– Experience with ISM Code and safety management systems
– Knowledge of port state = control and vessel inspection processes
– Familiarity with maritime environmental compliance and emissions reporting
